"For our close friends, as they set off on their long-awaited adventure to explore the stunning landscapes of Antarctica, I had the privilege of designing custom shoes that are both meaningful and functional. The design captures a key moment in their journey, showcasing their dream of discovering the untouched beauty of the world together.
The shoes feature a detailed map of Antarctica, showcasing the vastness of the icy continent they are about to explore. Additionally, the design includes a representation of the Hondius, the ship that will carry them through this once-in-a-lifetime expedition. The combination of these elements, paired with an icy color palette inspired by the serene, glacial scenery, creates a personal, heartfelt touch that honors their adventurous spirit and deep connection.
