My world vs Reality
"We live in a post-truth society where objective truth often takes a backseat to polarizing voices, as evidenced by the rise of populism. We are collectively absorbed in our mobile phones and self-image, fed with personalized content (e.g., Facebook algorithms), constantly reinforcing our own beliefs. Yet, we seem to overlook the world around us. The world deserves to be heard just as much as we do.
Humanity celebrates modern technology and the latest discoveries, creating our own fictional worlds through XR (Extended Reality). Everything is becoming automated, robotization is advancing, and datafication is altering our perception of privacy. My fear is that in the future, nature will vanish, and the world will transform into a steel-based existence, resembling the science-fiction films that have been predicting for years.

With this project, I have layered images from the past few years, hoping to convey my fascination with the world. These are snapshots taken in Sweden (Mora/nature park Fulufjället), Germany (Obernautalsperre), England (London), and Austria (Flachau). They depict both nature and human-made structures.

By making it interactive, I have given you the opportunity to shape your own perception of reality. Your view of the world depends on your perspective; everyone constructs their own reality. That's why I chose to play with perspectives, altering the perception of how we perceive reality. 'My world vs. Reality, What's yours?"
