OTOLIFT

Otolift, the leading supplier of stairlifts in the Netherlands, sought to elevate their service standards and engaged our team to develop an augmented reality (AR) application. As the UX designer for this project, I played a key role in its development.

Our team designed and implemented an AR app specifically tailored for iPad Pro, intended for use by Otolift advisors during the sales process. Leveraging advanced LiDAR technology, the app accurately scans and measures the surrounding environment and staircase. This allows advisors to customize the stairlift and railing with a variety of colors, take precise measurements, and capture photos and videos to share with customers.

Moreover, the app features a visual animation of the stairlift in operation, providing a realistic portrayal of its functionality. Additionally, advisors can incorporate a virtual user for height comparison, enhancing the customer's understanding of the product.

By integrating this AR application into their service model, Otolift has significantly enhanced efficiency and effectiveness. Customers now have access to a lifelike representation of the stairlift, facilitating personalized solutions and ultimately bolstering Otolift's competitive edge.
